Alessandro Fausto was born in Savona, Italy in 1974. He got his Master Degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Genoa in 2006, and his Master in "Cybersecurity and data protection" at the same University in 2017. He worked in private companies as an ICT technician, as a software developer at the research laboratory InfoMus, and has a lecturer at various institutions. He was a member of the winterover group DC12 at Concordia Antarctic research station. Since 2010 he has been working as an ICT technician for the DIBRIS department at the University of Genoa.
Currently, he is a Ph.D. student at the SCNL Laboratory at the University of Genoa.
His main research activities concern Network Security in different fields, such as traditional terrestrial, Internet of Things, and 5G networks.
